Apex Auto is a fully automated digital corner crimping machine designed to crimp corner keys inside the aluminum profiles by servo controlled all independent crimping blades. It features a total of 12 axes that automatically set all blade distances, press points, and pressing amounts. This allows each blade to move independently. Thanks to this movement capability, the blades can adjust to the most accurate position and apply the most appropriate pressing force. The servo-controlled pressing axis ensures precise pressing and prevents excessive pressure from being applied.

 

In profile learning mode, the profile is placed in the machine, and the blades are automatically positioned according to the designated press points. The pressing amount and the post-press retraction amount are entered into the recipe in millimeters (mm). If necessary, a second pressing step with a different amount can be added for a more secure press. Once all dimensions are entered, an appropriate reference image is selected to guide the profile's orientation during operation, and the settings are saved under a unique recipe ID number.

 

During automatic mode, the recipe is selected, and each blade moves to the positions defined in the recipe. Once the profiles are placed in the machine, the start button is pressed. The centering block and clamp secure the profile in place. The pressing is carried out according to the specified amount in the recipe, completing the process.
